I'm Saiful, the lead trainer at Stellar, in-fact for many of the courses, you’ll see me mentor students throughout the complete journey, from walking in-confused to walking out confident with an offer in hand. Like many of you aspiring to, my career journey began in Bangalore. I worked here for over a year before secondment to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong I gained technical and business expertise and worked with some of the leading names in the finance industry like Virtu Financials and Nomura Holdings, within the 1% of technology and strategy teams. My career was on an upwards trajectory when a crisis hit leaving me in shackles of mental health.

I further pursued an MBA at a Russell Group university in the UK that was partly funded through scholarships. As I tried to search for jobs in India with a respectable degree from a Russel group university and a coveted tech. strategy experience based out of Hong Kong that I stumbled into the ed-tech industry.

During this time I realised the dismal state of technology education in Bangalore, including at some of the well-established names

  • ·Trainers had little to no corporate experience, and though the courses were taught, students were unable to develop their analytical thinking or its application to the real world.

  • Students received no proper counselling because people managing these institutes lacked proper education or exposure, as a result were unable to map a student’s educational background and the course offered with a family of open job description in the market.

  • The complete market ran on sentiment, and students were often misled in the name of religion and regionalism.

This experience motivated me to create Stellar. Here, I use my extensive background to personally guide students. I begin by counselling to find a course that not only fits their profile but also aligns with the market needs.

Once we've chosen a course, I personally train a student for 2.5 months, focusing on building technical skills and preparing them for interviews. In the final 15 days, I work on resume, soft skills, and online presence to help students start getting interview calls. We also automate this process of job search so that a student is able to apply to vast pools of open jobs with little effort, exponentially increasing thier chances of landing a job.
